Suffice to say, I bet a lot of your readers - myself, included - are ecstatic to see you back...hopefully for a longer period this time. And despite how many years it's been, it's like you've never left - your writing style and characterization say so. You've got these two down to the T and how you show them handling this delicate of amnesia is PER-fect. The thoughts that run through Gippal's head after he remembers something or hears something about himself. . . it's such a strange sensation (for both him and the audience) to "re-learn" something about yourself in a detached sort of way... almost like that's not really you- but it is! Really, I love how insightful you are of your characters. You've always been one of the few GippalRikku writers I favored and you have no idea (or maybe you do) to see one of your favorite fanfic. authors make a comeback. |
