i figured out that Ben was a lefty in ep 1 of the original Ben 10. He reached for the omnytrix with his left hand, and it is human nature to reach for the unknown with your dominate hand, unless it is restrained by something (which it wasn't)

Just felt like pointing that out.

I really liked this-it was fluff-ily cute, and though I try not to let anyone know this (got a 'tough-chick' reputation to uphold), bute I really love sweet romances like this. I found it especially hilarious how your brother pointed out that Ben is a lefty. Honestly, I never knew that about rings; in fact, I didn't even know they went on your left hand! I guess I really do spend to much time playing video games...

Very romantic, very sweet. I love how clueless Ben was, and how adorable Kevin was. My only issue was that if I was turning 16, and my 17 year old boyfriend gave me a ring in front of my entire family, while there might be squealing and "aww"s, there is no way in Hades or on Earth that my dad would just stand there watching while my hunky boyfriend lifted me up, made a not-so-vague sexual reference, and took me off for a night of hot, sweaty lovin'. There would be no "bring him back tomorrow". There would be guns. And foul language. Possible bloodshed. So when I read that part, I nearly fell off the couch laughing. Ah, thank heaven for fanfic...

Your explanation about Ben being left-handed makes sense. I'd always thought that, but then my friend was all "NO HIS WATCH IS ON HIS LEFT WRIST" And people that are right-handed usually wear the watch of the left wrist for the same reason as rings. My explanation: The Omnitrix latched on to Ben's left wrist, as he was holding his left hand out when the Omnitrix's container thingy opened. I dunno about most people, but I usually use my dominant hand when I'm poking random objects from space.

Later in AF, that was just for nostalgia's sake that he put it back on his left wrist.
