S2lou-chaaaan sob sob this is..this is..beyond beautiful..cries..I mean, gah, I haven't read kaito x aoko for such a long time, and out of the blue decided to revisit my old favorit fics since it's holiday and all...I just, didn't expect, to be so touched and moved again :''''( Kaito's letter is so HEARTFELT I felt like he was sending it to me in person, like he was my own ex-boyfriend and I felt like aoko - hurt, unsure, tentative, wanting and confuse all thrown out together - which makes no sense at all cos I am not her and there is no Kaito in real life, and I don't even have that kind of painful romantic past to reminisce over - yet I feel like the character itself, crying and hurting and feeling. You somehow able to wake in me, a sense of realness, the raw feeling and imperfections on everyday life that reminds me that human's life is beautiful. Your story is beautiful, cos it stays true to the portrayal of human's everyday lives, and to watch you capture all that exceptionally well... I'm just so, so happy to read such a beautifully told story. I love that the ending is not happily ever after, but unsure yet hopeful, and I think that's what makes it sweet and endearing, how it just connect to real lives so much more. Thank you so much for sharing, and please please please do write more :') this one is a favorite among favorites, and I'm waiting you to post more beautiful fics in the future.

You know, I hesitated for a while to read this. Mainly because I was afraid. It seemed like at every turn Aoko was going to turn away. But in the end, you made it pretty as always. (:

You know, if I didn't like Gem's Entry and So I Can Breathe so much (and I'm probably biased since it's the first fic by you that I read), I'd definitely say this was the best fic you wrote. You really brought Aoko to life as a 'real' person, especially in making her an artist - being one myself made me appreciate those nuances more, I think. :) I also really liked the tentativeness of the relationship near the end of the second chapter - it's not perfect, but that's what makes it realistic, and it's very warm and sweet and hopeful. Very charming piece, overall.
