I'd almost forgotten about this delightful story! Glad to see the first date went well. I'd love to see Bella go to the opera and see/hear him play there! Can't wait to see more about the weird neighbors/murder mystery as well as B&E's relationship growing.

That was an excellent update. Their date was great. I loved that Edward hit it spot on. The dancing was the perfect touch I think. I really enjoyed it! Awesome work.

What a lovely end-of-February surprise this update was! I'm glad you're still posting - I can't wait to see what happens with Lanky Man and the gang. I think someone already mentioned how Rear Window this story is, and I think that's pretty accurate. It shows not only in the story line but also in the way you've written this and the suspense you develop.

I really enjoyed their date. One suggestion I have is to give a quick recap of the story if there is a long-ish time from chapter to chapter. I had to go back and reread to remember 'Lanky man'. That said, I cannot wait to see what Bella cooks up for next time!

Wow. What a great date! This was even better than I'd imagined it would be. It was so worth the wait to bring back all my love for this story. Their time together in the rooftop garden was so sweet. Edward is much more than a pretty face to have thought so carefully what would please her. She has no clue that he thinks she's popular and it's very endearing.
