   JukedSolid chapter 5 . 5/28/2012 you know I thought your theory about how the picture Nick gave Kira might be shifted was interesting, but the movie pretty much disproves it. Before Kira tells Nick she pushed him and all of it was a lie etc. it shows Nick looking through his wallet at a picture. Presumably *the* picture. At that point in the story he wouldn't be looking at/have need of a shifted picture of a fake past. So it seems that these two really did have quite the past *and presently ongoing* relationship. Not to mention that it doesn't really make sense that she would totally ditch division if she was actually Carver's partner. Carver was just pushing her the whole time and the intuitive ending is the actual ending. heh, maybe you know all this already, but take it as a compliment that your story got my brain thinking this much. | shallowness chapter 7 . 4/20/2011 I only started reading this fic because it was marked as 'completed', but...it isn't, and having finished it, I presume it's abandoned as it was last updated nearly two years ago. Perhaps you could consider editing it to clearly mark as 'in progress'? It's a shame that this story has abandoned, because it would have been interesting to see where you went with it. I loved Teresa's central role, because she was so ambiguous, an independent player who'd do things for her own motives and a link to Nick and Cassie's parents. You have a knack for ending chapters excitingly and a lot of the developments were great. If you do continue writing fanfiction, please consider using a beta reader, because I found some of the word choices got in the way of the story. |
