Callista252 chapter 1 . 12/8/2013 Hihi, nice. I completely agree, thank you for posting! |
Athyna DaughterofPosiedon chapter 1 . 6/22/2011 Oh Gods! It hurts! The hilarity hurts! That was pure awesome! All of it! I loved the way you slipped Firefly in there with Jayne and Mal, and the Dr. Horrible reference at the end! That was AWESOME! Love it! |
Anyankaholic chapter 1 . 11/15/2009 That was so amazing. I love the references to Joss' other works. I was laughing throughout all of that. That crack about vampires being addicted to cigarettes and hair gel was great. |
Erisah Mae chapter 1 . 11/15/2009 This is kinda cute. I liked the point behind it, though the confrontation was a bit disjointed... it definitely could have been more fluent when all the characters were putting in their two cents. I was a little confused at what you meant by Joss having to do with logic- whilst I'm a fan of his work, I've never got *that* impression. Whimsical yes, overblown plots and characters yes, fun settings yes... Logic? Hm have to get back to you on that one. The paradox of all vampires being out to kill the slayer except the ones that she wants to bang never quite did it for me. I mean, I think Xander etc. had quite a sane response when they found out Angel was a vampire, "but they're in lurve"... um what? Heh, though Twilight / logic, that's for sure. I got so annoyed after reading the first book that not only did I swear to myself I wouldn't read any of the others (a VERY rare thing for me), I started writing an antidote. It's called "Bela the Nymphomaniac Vampire Slayer" on if you want to check it out. Hmm that was a bit rambly. But anyway, nice job, this made me snigger a bit. :) Erisah |
Fanatic 4 U chapter 1 . 8/1/2009 This is really good! I was laughing at how weird it is! I mean nearly every character to ever come into Buffy is there! |
DobbyRoxMySox chapter 1 . 6/5/2009 That was hilarious! I loved Dru's little comment at the end there, and Anya's rant about Willow's fear of penises had me in stitches:) Great job! And very in character too. |
angelus cado chapter 1 . 5/25/2009 *gigglesnort* Excellent work, I especially appreciated the Dr. Horrible reference thrown in there. And the Firefly too, but more with Dr. Horrible because I'm much more familiar with that. Great work, had to keep from laughing my ass off at work. |
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 5/8/2009 A great story. Very good. |
SpaceMonkey0941 chapter 1 . 5/5/2009 OH HELL YES YES YES YES |
Sweetp000433 chapter 1 . 4/21/2009 Haha I think Twilight is stupid too. lol They have got to be the most corniest vampires out there. |
Yusuke Urameshi - Mazoku chapter 1 . 3/25/2009 I like Twilight well the basic idea anyway but the sparkly vamps yeah gotta go... |
TamSibling chapter 1 . 3/13/2009 This was terrific! A friend of mine forwarded it to me, as I don't normally read fic in the Buffy fandom, but this was just great and totally worth it. I love all the tongue in cheek as well as the introduction and cross-fertilization of all of Joss' properties. The convenient plot device line was spot-on and the whole idea of an intervention was executed brilliantly. Brava! |
Random Stuff About Stuff chapter 1 . 3/10/2009 I spent the entire story trying to come up with a suitable expression, phrase, or other use of up to 9 characters to express my adoration for this story. I came up with this: WIN! |
PeanutButterPrincess chapter 1 . 3/8/2009 that is so funny and the characters are perfect (i know cos i'm a major buffy fan and a semi major twilight fan |
Raidersrule76 chapter 1 . 2/25/2009 THANK you. THANK you so much. While both series have their own respective mythologies and lore, and while neither is necessarily totally faithful to traditional vampire lore, Buffy's is infinitely better, more complex, better well-designed, better written-just better in general. That, and Twilight outright fails. A few quibbles though. For instance, I disagree with Wood and Dawn being mere plot contrivances; Wood moreso than Dawn (fifth season much?). I liked Wood's character, and I like how he was handled, whereas Dawn, who was a very Mary-Sue-y addition to the cast, took a whole season to actually get to a place where the writers could utilize her well enough. And the story itself sort of devolved into "Twilight bad, Buffy good," towards the end. Which, hey, is true, but still. Keep a look-out? And it's "Meyer." Not "Meyers." -RR76 |
