wow, you seem to really dislike America... it's all "Manifest Destiny this" and "Americans think they can do what they want without consequences because their American". Hmph screw you, don't act all high and mighty as if all the other countries can do no wrong.

ugh the writing in this chapter was not as fluid as the previous ones. what happened?!

I feel like I read this once, but I cannot remember these specifics before this read for the life of me. Either way, nicely done fic, with your usual combination of clever worldbuilding and good character-driven action.
