I punched the wall so many times when this episode happened.
And how much more dramatic this story is than the episode itself makes me want to curl up on my bed and cry for hours.

LOVED IT. Not only was this well-written but I loved how you played with the flashbacks. Normally, memories would slow down the action and the pacing, but you've written it in a way that it only adds to the momentum. My favorite flashback was the fortune cups...hey wasn't that the name of that tournament that propelled Jack and Carly together? *winks*

Why isn't this in the Retributionshipping Community-?-because I demand this be placed there. I hope you write more Jack/Carly.

That last line was the saddest most dramatic ending ever.

Your story had a habit of making me burst out laughing one moment- “ . . . you’re either going to fall in love or win the lottery. Go buy a ticket and keep things interesting,”- and then feel so depressed a moment later. LOVE IT!

Really enjoyed your fic. Jack is not fluffy and, as you call it, has dubious morals (therefore IC) but one gets the idea that he cares in some way, not clear until the end, for her.

I keep on hoping there is a better solution but I feel that something like this is what's going to happen in the series ._.

I loved reading this, one of the best Jack/Carly fics I've read so far! The last line in particular really had struck a chord in me, I thought I was going to cry, it was just a perfect way to end it! Definitely going on the favorites!
