It never fails to amaze me how you convey such deep emotion from our heros. I have to remind myself, it's from fiction. But I suppose you can tell I am enraptured with their characters already and I only have Sensei Takahashi to blame for that. If she hadn't been so thorough in her character development, maybe I wouldn't have become so addicted. Thank you for another wonderful rendition.

i really loved this one. it covers so much teritory in so few words, yet it doesn't feel rushed. the contrast between his memories and his child's happy life really made this poem special. you captured it perfectly.
