Even though I knew there was no way for this not to end in tragedy, you had me hoping for a miracle until the very end. Fantastic job!

I feel that Padmé isn't looking at this situation correctly. Democracy allowed slavery to happen. Democracy allowed death oon an untold scale to happen. By being a wise, just and fair Empress, Padmé could make the galaxy a better place than it was during the Republic. The problems with Democracy are that it eventually either becomes so corrupt that the only people getting what they want are the wealthy elite or it becomes so bloated with opposing factions at the top that nothing ever gets done/whenever something does get done, its undone by the following administration.

So I first read this back in 2017 and then decided to re-read it. It was throughly one hell of a roller coaster ride of emotions. I felt the exact same thing I experienced when I first read it.

I might say that this is one of my favorite Star Wars fanfiction. The way you portray Padme and Anakin was so real. Kudos

Ugh... the thing is this is really well written and it is intriguing. But Padme is very annoying. She caves soooooo easily. What has Anakin done to atone for anything he's done to her? Nothing and it just makes me so annoyed on how one sided it is.

Okay. You've got a second chance at the choking angle. Now the question remains. Will she make it past 1 chapter this time before caving?

So... she caved immediately. That was incredibly disappointing.

Fantastic read, really loved the paradoxical nature of Padme and Anakin, it was really interesting to see them so bipolar and unpredictable. It was also interesting to see a possibility of what could've happened should Padme not have died

I’m just satisfied with what you have proposed, so relevant, again. Padme and Anakin, their love, their passion, their destruction, their tragedy, the power... I don’t have so many words. Luke was just an angel Leia was so strong. Obi-wan was... Obi-wan, I was so happy to read and recognize the character of George Lucas through the chapter, as for every characters finally!

Omg. I originally read the half of the story that was written, around 2012. On a whim, I decided to find it and read it again a week ago. Imagine my shock and delight to find that not only had you written more, you had finished it! I have been binge reading this on and off for a week. I love this story so much! The last few chapters had me reeling. You really did a wonderful job writing this!

Good tearjerker. I applaud the skill in which you described a dysfunctional relationship but i can't help being disappointed that Padme and Anakin did not rule together successfully. I've been looking for a story where Padme accepted his offer to rule and they quashed the rebellion and made the empire a better place. This was close but still not it.

Overall i wanted more focus on the ruling of the empire instead of the angst. Sadly you're a proud angst whore... :P

Thanks for the story i loved many parts of it even if i did get angst overload at times.
