You not only showed that there are many ways to victory; you reminded your readers, or at least this one, of the loss of a noble character-the presence of the Master and Hirotaka reminded one of the permanent absence if Yori. Well done.

I do wonder where this story will head now that this transition has been effected. Very much looking forward to more.

Whew... Had to back track a bit to get back into the story, but a nice little 'Transition' chapter here.

Hey glad to see you back at it and I gotta apologize as well I know my lack of a review in the last chapter it was probably hard to work up the enthusiasm to continue on, but I have a way to get online to read and review now so no worries anymore! Seriously though really enjoyed chapter 7 & 8 and I gotta say I have missed the history and Latin lessons. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Noticed the kind of typo I'm wont to make, "Few saw people saw the people of the great sands away from their desert"

Short, but nice. I appreciate the victory through cunning as much or more than the heroic mission which was the original thought.

Hope this augurs more to come from you in other stories. I believe another reviewer mentioned WTOS. Me, I'm hoping for another chapter of the Filthy Beast.

(Note to those who read reviews with less background in Rome, Augurs were officials in charge of reading the omens and advising leaders based on what was going to happen in the future.)

This was a very good chapter. It did definitely show that not all wars are won through strength of arm alone.

I am really glad to see another chapter of this excellent story arc.

Now, if you would post another chapter of WTOS in the next few weeks this would be an incredible month. (Hint, hint.)

LOL! Although, I cannot wait for another chapter of WTOS, it is one of my all time favorite Ron and Kim in college stories.

great job with this series don't give up on it there is still a great deal more of the story to tell it promises to be a very great story to read through

Great fight between Kimora and the Empusa.

One little comment: Mystery Cee Em (900) seems to have a different meaning in this chapter than in chapter 6.

Whew... Finally read all chapters here... Now it's time for bed.

Just a quick review here to let ya know I'm enjoying this story as much as the others.

I will have to say though I lol'd at the X-Files nod with the sesame seeds.

Now that I'm into this story (after getting headache from all the new names I had to get used to) I'm looking forward to the next chapter... And to never bet against a little white mouse...

Tense ending to a plague upon the House of Numidia and the threat to Ronicus and MW, among others.

Now a major battle to come?

Hope those two kids get to make good on Sensei's tweak earlier.
