I really like this story alot. Can you please write some more chapters?

I really enjoyed the concept of this story. It was very fulfilling to see a real, unfixable magical disability. In the real world, when somebody becomes paralyzed, they're forever paralyzed, while in the magical world, there are 'nerve regenerating potions' and 'spinal cord spells' and the like. It was so nice to see a wizarding version of a crippling disability.

Your writing on where branches of magic were stored in the brain was very well thought out. The fact that Hermione's right side, the Charms and Transfiguration side was damaged, was a given, otherwise, how would she spend more time with Severus? :)

It was gratifying to see that you didn't do some "Hermione's a magical cripple, but she's going to be perky and upbeat about it!" Thank goodness you tossed in a bit of depression, or I would have tossed this story aside, because it just wouldn't be real. (Well, as real as anything in HP can be!)

One thing I was never clear on, was what that 'green energy' that kept Hermione from falling out the window was. (Part of me was so hoping for her to be cradled in Severus' arms, but that's a little too obvious and too cheap romance novel.)

Wow, really good story! I'm definitely on board with you about Hermione being too young at this point for a romantic relationship with someone in his thirties, but your deft handling of the characters and plot have actually made me not too freaked out about a romance budding in the sequel.

One of the things that I liked most about this was the fact that there wasn't suddenly a fix-everything miracle cure. The story is grounded firmly in its internal reality and the complex emotions of the characters. Nice job!

Utterly charming. I actually stumbled on this story in another archive, but decided to look you up here just so that I had the chance to post a brief review. You have a true gift for capturing the essence and voice of these characters while at the same time exposing them in new and interesting ways. It's rare to find someone who can write Snape's thoughts without becoming either maudlin or unncecssarily cruel. You, however, have struck a fine balance. The warmth, tension, and authenticity of this story amaze me. Thanks for the journey; I look forward to reading more of your work in the Potterverse.

OMG! I spent the entire Saturday evening reading all of this! I had started once before, but somehow I lost the story, but am I ever glad that I found it and you again! I do love the entire story, finding it not hard to believe that Severus Snape would actually have an affinity with a student that has most of the same traits he has, and same determination and need for knowledge and making a place for themselves in the wizarding world. He does seem to be an honorable sort, even from the books and movies so I don't think he was to far out of character at all. I can't wait til the next one out! please put me on whatever e-mail list/notification when you put this out, or if I'm just slow point me in the right direction where I may find it! My hats off to you for your imagination and ability to put it into story form that we all can enjoy ! Keep it up... That was such a wonderful story and I loved and enjoyed it very much when I read it a long time ago.

Actually I came here to see, whether there would be that promised sequel. Are you still planing on doing it? Well, in case you wondered, if there are still people out here who would like to read it, yes there are. I still hope you will do it sometime.
