Divine above question chapter 18 . 3/3/2018 What a goddamn ride... |
John Spangler chapter 18 . 5/24/2015 I'd never heard of Birdy the Mighty before, but I greatly enjoyed this story. It's one of the best Evangelion crossovers I've ever read, fascinating and funny. Thanks for having written it. |
Mattman324 chapter 18 . 1/14/2015 Entirely worth reading, even if only for the buildup to the last omake. |
Brenden chapter 18 . 8/5/2014 goodwork. |
Lazyman12 chapter 18 . 6/17/2014 This was amazing story, thank you for writing this fanfiction and completing the entire story. |
swartzvald chapter 6 . 2/13/2014 Horny what? Need to go check that out... |
Zaralann chapter 18 . 12/1/2012 Nice! |
Cylon One chapter 18 . 12/5/2011 I said it once before and I have to say it again for the entire adventure with Birdy and Shinji: Amazing! Marvelous! Stupendous! Colossal! Tremendous! Gigantic! Astounding! Unbelievable! Spectacular! Phenomenal! And it's good, too. |
Toby860 chapter 18 . 10/22/2011 a very good story. in my opinion you should pair shinji with birdy. sinci their relationship progressed sorta like asuka's origional one did in the anime. you should also write a part 2 that sorta follows birdy the mighty season 2. as for what shinji can use to fight their is still technically the jet alone robot. you could use this to have a shinji and birdy pairing progress. also at the end you could have shinji follow birdy into the stars as they live their lives as federation cop and ship pilot/partner. |
Ryuus2 chapter 18 . 10/8/2011 This was a very good story. I've never seen the best parts of yui and Gendo get pulled up in Shinji like this before. I was surprised Ritsuko didn't decide to show Misato and Shinji the Rei-quarium. I didn't think that the extra soul problem was that much more important to gendo's scenario than the back-up Rei's. And it would have given Shinji a great chance to bring the older women into the fold. Revi was a very underwhelming villain. It was like...fighting your way through a castle, just to find out that the king had never held a sword before. Oh well, I didn't like the bitch, so watching her get pushed around so much at the end was just funny. I half expected for Kaji to pop up around a corner every step of the way for a few chapters now. That last drink he had before his assisted self suicide set off warning bells in my mind that just wouldn't turn off. The biggest problem with the final battles was how much you emphasized how lucky it was when anything happened. Having to read 'luckily, this happened' a dozen times in a dozen ways was the only drawback for me. Otherwise, it was a long string of epic kick-ass-ness that rocked. Keep up the great work! |
crosswire chapter 18 . 10/3/2011 Incredible! I hope you continue this, Really. I know you haven't updated in a while but I hope your muse comes back! |
Skipper311 chapter 18 . 10/3/2011 Holy duly. Great read, really entertaining. I feel like I've been left hanging, though. I know you have no plans for a sequel, but still... Anyway, good work here! |
SeanHicks4 chapter 18 . 8/28/2011 Awesome story. It got me to finally look into the 'Evangelion' manga to see if those running gags about Shinji Ikari being fate's whipping boy where true. Most of my 'Birdy' knowledge came from the decode series, so some of your story seemed vastly different, but that might have just been the fact that there are 2 different manga versions I've seen in adition to 'decode' and the OAV. |
Final-Fan chapter 18 . 4/21/2011 Rescue Rangers, but I thought that episode was pretty dumb even as a kid. |
Final-Fan chapter 16 . 4/21/2011 I could have sworn I'd read this before, but if so I evidently didn't review. I'm enjoying the story immensely, whether it be the first, second, or third time around. The only criticism that springs to mind is that I don't think you should force yourself to make omakes, or feel bad if you don't make any. I think the good ones mostly are spontaneous. Like this: Unit Two quickly began to change, its gray flesh becoming green and scaly. (rest of paragraph) All the Japanese who saw the creature that had been Unit 02 instinctively knew both dread and hope, for they beheld: "Godzilla!" I'm sure you could have done it better, but you didn't think of it! Maybe after it defeats the MP Eva, have it go off in search of power lines to walk through :P |
