omg thank you so much for sharing! This and the prequel to this are one of my absolute favourite Alex Rider ffs! I absolutely adore your writing style and the way you depict the charcters. I did also enjoy the abusive and more gruesome scenes you built into the story as they give it a more realistic touch. Jennifer's change of opinion of Alex and Alan Blunts knowlege of Craig's wife and his handling of that also definitely scored with me. I love it!

This must have been the fourth? Fifth time I'm reading this. Usually, I hate rereading stuff I've already read but I cannot resist when it comes to this story. Every single time it pops up in someone's likes or I see it anywhere I have to click on it. It's so good and a pleasure to read again and again. The perfect mixture of excellent writing, brilliant plot, and well written chatchters makes this my favorite fanfic on this site. (Plus it has a lot of whump which is just me being weird lol) All jokes aside, this story is very well written and very well executed. I wouldn't mind at all to having it tattooed to my face or engraved on my tombstone

Wow, this was a really amazing story, I just finished it (well, obviously)! I liked the way you depicted everyone - and I mean, everyone, from Alex, Craig, Blunt, Jones to Jennifer, Jason, and the others. They seemed very realistic and, I think, that's one of the most important parts of this story. It is one of the best I've ever read, and d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y the one that's closest to the books and the characters. Great job!

Is it sad that I actually really like Craig? He's an interesting character, and one of the few original characters that I don't hate on sight. He seems to love his wife, and is willing to compromise. He obviously has issues. The conversation with Alex about Scorpia makes me a little wary, but he does come off as loyal to MI6. I'll be interested to see where this goes. I definitely loved his speech in the first story, about doing your job whether you like it and not to keep other people from dying. To keep them safe in their little bubbles.

This is the best Alex Rider fanfic I have ever read.

I have found other good fics in this fandom but this one goes deeper that canon.

The characterisation is great, a perfect development to "Conscience" and your Alex is amazing. You show the toll this life is taking on him, the moral suffering without ever turning into wangst (something that is so easy to slip into, especially in fanfiction).

I really liked the way he averted his eyes from the body of the guy at the top of the stairs, you just show his state of mind without descriging it, really good writing.

I agree with Doubleblade Miriko. I just love the tragic about Alex realizing that being an assassin lies in his blood. And that he's quite good. You show his troubled feelings pretty well. So your story is sad, trgic, dark. JUST WONDERFUL. I hope there'll be a sequel to this. I'm curious how Alex will deal with his trauma and how this will seperate him even more from Jack, Tom and so on.

I love how you use the injurys that arnt as deathly seriouse but still dangerouse. Now thinks about concusions or being gagged. Even the spasms are a wonderful touch. Good job
