I never knew there were any Black Books fanfics, I'm pleased there are and that I somehow stumbled upon yours. A wonderful read, great ending and everyone was perfectly in character. I have,'t seen the show in a few years but the characters voices came through clearly with their lines of dialogue.

that was a beautiful fanficiton, it had plenty of angst and everyone was perfectly in character. The last couple paragraphs of this story are pure perfection. Also Joy Division is one of my favorite bands so I was all ! at the references. It's also one of Dylan Moran's so perhaps you put them in for that too. Just wanted you to know how totally awesome your writing is, ok bye.

That ending made me cry! Beautifully done. I always thought the relationship with Fran and Bernard was wonderfully, weirdly sweet and I wish they'd actually done more with it on the show.

The only thing that annoyed me was Fran, I wish she hadn't let things get so far ith Brian. But then of course, if she hadn't, the story wouldn't have been as good, would it? :)

I just wanted to let you know that I love this story. I read it once when I was younger and I think it may have saved my life, so I read it again whenever I feel down, just to remind myself that no matter how bad it gets, at least im not bernard black. ;)
