I normally HATE those "suddenly in the current time" SH fics, mostly because they are poor Mary Sue attempts.

However, your working of that basic plotline is truly wonderful! Sarah Jane has just the right sort of temperment to deal with Holmes, it seems.

I do wonder what the Doctor made of the situation, though.

Brilliantly done, I was hooked right from the first sentence. Very well written and very entertaining :D

This is an excellent, superbly written story which perfectly captures the characters of Holmes and Sarah Jane (and Mr. Smith!). I enjoyed it so much that I was slightly surprised by the abruptness with which it concludes. The tale almost feels like the prologue to a larger crossover with the Doctor investigating the cause of the temporal disturbance. Also, Watson describes Holmes' voice as "high [and] somewhat strident" in "The Adventure of the Stockbroker's Clerk" (a statement I have seen contradicted by professional writers of Holmes pastiches). None of this, however, prevents this from being one of my Favorite Stories.

HA HA HA HA ! God, I love this, It's just hilarious. YEah, getting Holmes assimilated into 21st century is just terrific. You should see Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd century. It's kinda like that, however, it's set in the future.

Hahaha, this was surprisingly good! Not meaning to sound insulting to you, I just didn't imagine Sherlock Holmes and Sarah-Jane Smith fitting together so well. You wrote both the characters so well. I loved it so much!

I think you may have just screwed the Victorians over by teaching Holmes I Spy. Think about it!

well, she was the one who suggested playing I-Spy with Dr. Holmes of all people! what was she expecting! and the Doctor sure did take his time answering her! If I was SJS, I would get the Doctor's number, so she doesn't have to deal with the distress call nonsense

Really good. I liked the "Unsurprisingly, the ceiling didn’t reply", seriously I have yelled at the ceiling so many times you would have thought that once, just once, it would reply. Gah now I sound crazy, a good time to end this little review. Again ver good, wouldn't mind seeing a little more SJa and Holmes collaberation if you felt like it?

It would have been nice to have Luke involved. Can you imagine him learning deductive reasoning from the expert in the field.

Oh, this was simply lovely. :) No saving the world, no dramatics - just a nice way to spend time with someone when things are just slightly off-kilter.
