Listen, man, idk if you’re still active on this site or what, bc the site says this was written in 2009, but I read this out of curiosity to see what kind of fics the Old Days of Phineas and Ferb had to offer and tbh this read like an episode and made me smile. So, if you’re able to read this, know that it’s bringing someone joy 9 years later. Pretty funny, very well written, 10/10. Never expected to find something this good and pure. Oh, wow, I love this! Such a cute story! But, Perry had to stop Doof from erasing his girlfriend's messages cause it was illegal, I thought. I've often wondered why Perry has to stop some of his plans, though. Yeah, what was wrong with the hand shadows?

Anyway, his invention was awesome, his backstory was so Doof-like, and it was a satisfying read.

That was really good! I like how you didn't make it way too sappy or anything. I know I would have gone overboard...I proved it in one of my stories, when someone actually mentioned that what they were doing only really happened in sappy, melodramatic fan fiction. You, on the other hand, pulled it off while keeping it true to the show and making it fun to read, and I really enjoyed it. Good work!

Oh, but there is this one little thing. The plural form of nemesis is nemeses. Aside from that, I didn't catch any other mistakes, which makes me happy.

Beautifully done! It was simple, but so many times sensible. The flow of thought was clean and smooth, and it pretty much followed the show's format. Doofenshmirtz's drama was a good scene, as was Perry's deliberation.

This is one of my favorite P&F stories, hands down. It's written very much in-character, and it reads exactly as an episode. It's tough to find some good in-character Doof/Perry frenemy-type stories, so this is a rare gem to be sure. Truly, truly lovely.
