Aw I love it! You got right inside their heads and muddled around for us, and I LOVE that he took down the mirror. I miss the days when Dean and Sam were brothers, and Dean was the protector. *sigh* Lovely piece!

I thought this was a great depiction of Dean's caring and concern for Sam, and Sam's knowledge of that: "He knew how hard it was for Dean not to rush him right to the hospital."

And I LOVED that Dean had removed the mirror from the bathroom-that was brilliant! A perfect touch, and SO something Dean would do!

That's a really nice idea, and subtle writing, too. I love the ways they show each other that they care without having to actually say it. I think it means a lot more that way.
