Xanatos-Gambit27 chapter 14 . 4/4 Why did Xan end up saving Obi-Wan's life? |
FiloX chapter 14 . 3/17/2018 Love this story! And the way they speak! I love how everyone is alive~ what a happy ending. And great characterisation of Xanatos, you made him so human and likeable. Great job! |
LadyTeldra chapter 14 . 1/11/2018 Oh my fucking god. I can't believe my last crack guess was the right one. Admittedly, the first guess was purely humorous as well. Dear heaven's. That was perfect. Also, holy hell. Xan was awesome. Thank you so very much for this. |
LadyTeldra chapter 8 . 1/11/2018 I've been on Tumblr waaay too long. My mind can come up with exactly two things it could be. Some ancient phallic artifact that a noble would buy because it's priceless and ugly as sin. Or some very good and very old alcoholic beverage. (Of course, I would accept scandalous holopics of Qui-Gon as a padawan as an appropriate tribute as well. But that's more crack than a real idea.) |
LadyTeldra chapter 1 . 1/11/2018 -grins- This is wonderful. I'm with this 110%. Unlike the other one, this isn't quite a redeemed Xanatos and that's interesting. Both are interesting. I've not read nearly enough fics with him. |
SapphireInTheSky824 chapter 1 . 12/19/2015 wow this is such a great opening for a story! Full of intrigue, dilemma, companionship -i love it! Can't wait to read what happens next :) |
MADStar529 chapter 14 . 2/24/2014 Great story. Loved the friendship. |
Shinjiku chapter 14 . 1/2/2014 Great fic. I absolutely love your style of writing and your choice of words. It is highly usual to come across such a diverse vocabulary in fanfics, so that was definitely one of the highlights of your fic for me. It made Xanatos' character seem all the more believable and the dialogue more "scintillating", as you would say. The relationship between Xanatos and Obi-Wan was also a joy to read about. So thanks for writing this. I had a really great time reading it. |
HeidiHo chapter 14 . 8/2/2013 To be honest, I never thought I'd be interested in the Obi-Wan/Xanatos pairing, but I must give you credit for hooking me in the beginning and keeping me engaged until the very end. Is there more in the works? Please keep writing! |
Book girl fan chapter 4 . 6/23/2013 The words you use are a little overwhelming. For example: "My failure lies in my disregard to my meritorious apprentice who deserved far better than what I inadequately bestowed. Forgive me, Obi-Wan, for abrogating what should have been your shining moment in the sun and casting a dark shadow over the friendship I fondly valued between us." Does anyone really talk like that? I have to say, I cannot possibly imagine Qui-Gon Jinn saying that. It's too out of character for him. Personally, I have never heard anyone say either 'meritorious' or 'abrogating'. |
Barranca chapter 14 . 5/1/2013 Thanks for the story! Even if sometimes the big words made me pay attention less to what was happening and more to how it was presented :P |
Book girl fan chapter 14 . 4/24/2013 That prize is absolutely priceless, ad something that I think Xanatos would give a lot for! |
Beloved Daughter chapter 14 . 1/6/2013 Love, love, love how you ended this story! And it was absolutely brilliant what Yoda gave Xanatos in return for helping the Jedi Order out. I never saw it coming! :) Thanks for writing and posting! |
Margot chapter 14 . 10/18/2012 Started reading late at night and could not stop until I finished the whole story. Awesome. I always find it way cool when I find something this good. Thanks for sharing. |
Katerinaki chapter 10 . 10/14/2012 I like this story. It is certainly interesting. I just have one problem... Your vocabulary is very impressive, but sometimes it gets tedious. Especially when a character is speaking. People don't talk that way, even in Star Wars. In a few places, it actually began distracting from the story and the action, becoming almost comical. I have problems with too many modifiers too. It's not that their bad, it's just that readers get worn out trying to understand it all. Otherwise I am enjoying your story and I'm going to keep reading it now. Cheers, -Katerinaki |
