I don't like yaoi, but as I am writing a fanfic with Zero, and my original character is like Kaname, I thought I should study how he would be in love with Zero. Nice detail in beginning, mirror imaging, imagery! Very detailed and metaphorical, which is good.

First off, I love Nobody's Home and thought this was an excellent title and just an excellent story over all! I love your detailed writing and the use of imagery is fantastic! I can picture this perfectly inside my head! :)

I also fell in love with you the moment I read, "Don't ever forget for whom this blood was offered" to, "Don't ever forget who gave you this blood." Gah, sooooo perfect! ;W;

Urgh...help...I'm left with weary and sad feelings after reading this...sigh...wonderful job.

First of all, I must congratulate you on your originality. Though I have read most of the Kaname/Zero fanfiction on this site, it usually takes a blood bond to get Kaname to warm up to Zero. So I was pleasantly surprised by his love for Zero, even with no blood involved.

Second, I very much liked the way you described Kaname's reactions to Zero, and his "admiring from a distance" act, because it shows how far he is from that perfect being he appears to be.

Third, I felt like crying with him when the kiss happened. Loved this: "Kaname stumbled over his own feet and slammed his back against the column, pressing his hand roughly over his face in an attempt to hide the humiliating, unmanly, shameful tears that threatened to escape. He slid on to the floor, wrapping his arms around his waist as he whimpered and hissed, gritting his teeth together to prevent himself from doing any other embarrassing sound."

And the way his powers escaped his control shows just how much he cares.

I was just a bit confused about the slashed wrists thing, and Zero's opinion of it being done on purpose...Maybe I'm just missing the point.

Fourth, good job on the whole “Shut up. Just… please… shut up!” scene *glares furiously at Zero and runs to hug poor Kaname*.

*sighs, relieved* upon seeing that Zero is less than immune to Kaname's reactions to his touch, and that he thinks of him, even if doesn't want to."And yet… at the moment… the only thing his heart called for, was the troubled pureblood before him." - I'm hoping his heart called for the pureblood, and not the pure blood:

*cheers vigorously* at the "kiss me" bit...First move made by Zero..wow *chuckles*

Fifth - *applauds* - GOOD love making scene. I liked their shyness in the beginning, Kaname's blush and Zero's tentative touches. Didn't really get the whole touching himself bit, but I guess I' just a more "traditional" yaoi loving freak *giggles* . LOL - how did that lubricant get there?:). I actually liked the savage part of their...ahem...union(?) *blushes again*.

Sixth - *kicks Zero over the head* at leaving Kaname alone after their "encounter" - u jerk! *forgiven!* - aw he came back

Hmm...why is Zero's jacket a painful reminder? He should be happy now, right? And "never-ending despair"...*sighs and hugs him tightly*

Okay, LAST but in no way LEAST, you MUST write a few more chapters to this...please. It's good, and it would be read...And I REALLY want to know what happens next.
