I like this one, weirdly enough. Amane seems in character, being that I see her as being kind of similar to Ryou, but a girl. I like how you've shown how she's grown up, too.

I just finished reading this story after reading 'On Little Cat Feet,' and I have to say this was a beautiful way to end that story. Amane comming back as a cat is both cute and endearing. It also helps I'm a huge cat person myself. :)

All these short stories were told really well, actually :)

Though I must say 'When I Return to the World' and 'Sleeping Beauty' were my favorites.

D'awww. This was an adorable chapter. Really emotional and sweet but realistic (like you said, it's harder dealing with real grief and pain, as opposed to "children's card games")... hopeful at the end though. :) I liked it.

The previous chapters were awesome too! Though I think this one was my favorite.

This was really nice! The four one was strange, but also a good change of pace. And this last one, I'm telling you, my heart warmed when Anzu used his given name. This was great!

After reading this one I'm completely looking forward to the seperate story you're uploading. In each chapter you've managed to completely surprise me with the ways Amane appeared, this one was the most unexpected and yet should have been the most expected, if that makes any sense. I like stories about the group bonding with Ryou post-DM, and even more I have a secret liking for a potential friendship between Otogi and Ryou, so him being the one to speak up really hit home. Of course it had to be through Anzu's eyes, I like that because she's possibly the most sane judge there. A wonderful read, congraduations on completing this project.

That is THE BEST tale of how they come to call Bakura "Ryou" EVER. One of my biggest YGO pet peeves is calling him Ryou just for the sake of convenience, to differentiate him from the Spirit of the Ring, without ever really giving a good reason for the change, since they NEVER call him that in canon. But this is PERFECT. Nicely done! (Even though I'm a dog person.)

I love the last chapter! Definitely my favourite. Very cute and heartwarming, I am looking forward to reading the seperate story. I love the way you write!

From my perspective, this can be looked at as hints of reincarnation into the cat, simply just a way of keeping his sister close, or both. I suppose that would be up to the reader. I had wondered how you were going to handle the final chapter, and this was well done. Nice ending.

Well that was a new and interesting twist. Hadn’t expected that little turn of events, though I like how you made it work. Seeing that YGO /is/ a supernatural horror, Bakura’s little sister becoming a vampire would be a perfect little twist to the story already rampant with ghosts, magic, and monsters. -applauds and hands you a tray of cookies- Keep up the amazing work!

I like this chapter. Amane as a vampire... You create an interesting back story for them. I've never seen that version of vampire, but it seems plausible.

...I wonder what Bakura must've thought when he found a vampire following his host...

(At uni, so unsigned review) Vampirism; you've taken another fandom cliché and put it into a situation that works so well and belieavbly. Most likely because you've written a story that shows how it affected Amane's life, while moat people use it just for romance. This was an extremely likeable take on the concept, and also another good view in filling in the gaps with the story of Ryou and Amane's story. Favourite part was actually the conversation between Amane and the other vampire, because you've got such a skill for making regional accents work when writing character speech. You and Pratchett are possibly the only people I know who can make them work that well.

Moving on to an actual review: I'm not a big fan of vampire fics, but you do a good job with this as a "what if" AU, and I like the bits and pieces of vampire lore you take and those you leave behind. An interesting portrayal. And I'm intrigued by Vampire!Amane and the Spirit of the Ring battling over Ryou's soul.
