Oh god, this is one hell of an angsty (yet definitely very well-written) fic. I loved how you kept us all in suspense up until the very end. Poor Ed tho :(

This is one of those stories that took a second reading to fully process. It's certainly effective and nailbiting, so kudos on that.

Holy jesus, I-I expected Winry to be dead, but not quite like this.
This story heavily reminds me of the song Blinding by Florence Machines. Usually I don't like songfics, but these would make quite a couple for this story (you should really look up the lyrics, it's pretty similar)
The fact that Ed was in his own dream world and imagining his arm and leg to be automail, despite being restored, and the fact that he had seen her corpse to begin with - gosh, talk about deep denial. It's sad how fragile the mind can be sometimes; I like the aspect on how you show that despite everything he's done, he has taken some serious damage emotionally and is human like everyone else. The best part is it isn't a needy type of desperation; it's a desperation he didn't even realise he had (much better than those silly stories where Ed randomly cries about something dumb and gets a random hug to sort him out - they're just annoying)
This story actually blew me away; there were quite a few things I certainly wasn't expecting. A good ol' pat on the back you and your incredible story-writing abilities!

Woow amazing, you're a wonderful writer, seriously the entire story was great and very dark. And I loved the Greek proverb, the mind really does crazy things to you. Please keep writing, I really loved it.

I read this fic before, like years ago, and just had to find it again, because it was just so dark, gripping, horrifying, and memorable.

wow that was a catching read. You had me guessing the entire time. Although I did figure it out before the end but I kept hoping that I was wrong.

Oh, my goodness gracious, creepy as all hells! I say that in the best possible way, too...the way that you kept it so wonderfully hidden until that deliciously gut-wrenching moment of realization of what exactly was going on, of just how deluded Ed was. I do like how it ends on the flashback line, but I wish that after Al shook Ed after finding the mess, there was a little bit more, just to drive the point home. Overall, though, definitely one of the best fics on here!

That was brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. The way you wrote it and how you kept the suspense was fantastically done, I'm literally shaking, and I like how you left what happened to Winry a mystery.

i love this, and you portrayed Ed's grief very accurately. At least I think so, im also really confused, but i think thats because its very late at night and not because your fic was confusing. italics were flashback, right? *is totally braindead*
