I think it's kind of funny that you wrote that author's note about Luna's mum, especially since her real name has been revealed as Pandora-maybe you're a seer! Lol. But it was nice in a sad way.

Wow! That was beautiful to read. Narcissa is a brilliant character, yes she had many flaws and there are many things about her which I don't like, but this was a perfect way to describe her. It was nice to see that you started it off from the beginning, with her family. And then her life with Lucius and Draco. But my favorite was the ending, with Scorpius being the light in their life.
Very well-done. :)

Ugh poor Narcissa.
I love how you incorporated the Mirror into this, with her yearning to have a happy family.
And in the end, how Andromeda is back with her, Lucius is better, and Draco has finally grown up, with a song of his own; Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, who is practically an enblem to show what has changed.
And that last line, just beautiful! :)

I am so, so pleased that by the end of this story, there's some measure of contentment and happiness, and that Narcissa's smile can finally turn real. It's so heartbreaking that her childhood is essentially repeating itself, with how Draco is, and how she can't do anything but do things like they're "supposed to," even though she knows they're wrong. She knows she's got an image to uphold, so she does-although I do wonder what it would be like for her if she had tried to break the mold at any time...if she had tried to make the vision in the Mirror a definite reality. Interesting thought, I suppose. :)
