What a dark, touching story. I haven't seen many stories that even considered Leanbow's transformation, and this is a fantastic take on it. I loved the flashback into how Udonna and Leanbow met - it wasn't what I expected, but I liked it much better.

Great job leading into Leanbow's eventual fate, and the last sentence (although I think it would have benefited from some semicolons) really made the piece.

Interesting; very romantic but I want more mushy Udonna/Leanbow stuff. It's not just you- I'm just really hungry for more of their love story. And Merrick/Shayla. And Tommy/Kat.
