I liked this story. and the ending was kinda funny.

Don't be so down on yourself. Yeah, a couple of the sentences were a bitch twitch and choppy, but I very much liked this overall. Each part fit, like it belonged. I particularly LOVED the "so full of pride" bits ending both Courtney and Duncan's drabbles somewhere in the middle. It just seemed to fit. The ending was sweet too. ]

Watch some of your sentences; they can get a lillte awkward at times. Aside from that, well done.
