i think unit gets mention for all of 1 episode in the new series yeah? (well ive not watched 11 yet so no idea about him). its like torchwood's taken over completely...so nice to see a 'joining' of sorts even if its unwilling...just out of curiosity though...what type of strange look passing over Jack's face at mention of Doc were you going for there? And i'm assuming if by this line:"I was hoping you'd stay long enough to meet the Doctor. He's due back soon."
that this is set well before the Doctor becomes the Doctor Jack's familiar with? So Jack can't stick around anyway due to not hving met 'him' yet...
overall...pretty amusing.

Oh this was great to see Jack interacting with my favorites in UNIT, and I love the Brigadier's hostility towards him lol! Although I'm glad Jack had enough sense not to mess up the timelines by staying around long enough to meet the Doctor duing this time the reaction Three would've had to him may have been worth it just to see it happen but oh well not messing with the timelines was better but still *sighs*
