you dont really need to make a flashback for evryone to this point that would be annoying, just make a small flashback wich shows why they did chose to follow him, dont make it complex or long.

ok, well let's ignore the premise of the story no matter how weird it is and move on too the grammar. it's pretty bad. no way around it. i've seen worse but only a few were as irritating. for the majority of the story the grammar is ok, but ever paragraph there's this horrendously bad sentence that just disrupts the whole thing, making the whole story hard to read or enjoy.

definitely need a beta and a spell check.
