That is unbelievably beautiful. I'm mush here, seriously. I was going to quote my favourite sentence, but I can't decide on just one! The hope-hemmed, doubt-crumpled wedding dress was stunning, the gold-rimmed dawn gave me tingles and the whole ship/seagulls bit was just perfect, but I think the top spot has to go to the beginning. Just the idea of her 'brushing her unfurled fingers against the night'...wow. And then into the next bit, which makes me think of a pure white flower blooming in the dark, lit only by the stars, seen by no-one and withered before dawn... Now I'm just spouting shit, but to cut a long one shorter, this story is amazing.

Very beautiful, I enjoyed this. Are we supposed to not know who is watching, or did you have someone specific in mind? The allusions to sails and gulls made me think of Tumblebrutus...
