I usually don't like reading about original characters, but this was well written and Elizabeth and Samantha were believable. I also like seeing a Gryffindor and Slytherin girl trying to understand each other. Well done.

I don't know if you'll get this review as the story's old, but I thought I'd leave one anyway because..well..it's very worthy of one. The story is perfectly written, something which I'm afraid I can't say for many stories, past or present. It was also beautiful. Very tragic, but very beautiful.

"This war might still be won, or at least, might not be lost." This sums up the overarching tone of this powerful little fic - darkness indeed, with threads of hope unfailingly tempered with the pain and loss that is ongoing and yet to come. Masterfully written.

*sniff* Just when I was getting to like Samantha, too... :P For me this fic was kind of creepy, because (even though it's not my name) I've been known to answer to Samantha... *shudder*

Anyways. Absolutely terrific fic! Once again, the way you pack so much intense emotion into so few words is astounding... I also like the way you avoided using familiar characters (e.g. the Terrible Trio, Professor Snape as we know him, etc.), it makes the fic much easier and harder to understand all at the same time.

I'm unsure about one thing, though: Does this take place before, after, or during Harry's time? I'd think before because of Snape's youth, but unless you made this an AU that wouldn't explain Voldie's presence. During, but then Theo wouldn't have had the Map. After, but then that would mean Snape had a kid, and somehow that just doesn't make sense to me... :P

Doesn't matter, though, it's a great fic anyway. I'm sure I've said this before, but one more time: Great fic, I can't wait to see more from you! (You've gotta be sick of me by now *grin*)

This was nicely written, dark and somewhat depressing but - well - nicely written. (My vocabulary fails me again.) I really can't think of a good way to describe it! But I feel bad if I don't review. It was very affecting.

All I have to say is,Wow!That was very good. I'm writing my first Harry Potter fanfic now.I hope it will be as good as yours.
