Why did you have to not finish this one, even if Matt is unbearably annoying, I was very invested in this.

Usually the characters in AU fics tend to get a little OOC, but I can *see* both Mello and Matt so clearly and recognize them in your writing. Can't say which of them both's personality is more fascinationg; Matt's lonely and aimless life as an unsuccessful writer (and his seemingly desperate and unreasonable clinging to Mello) or Mello's spoiled-yet-fragile-brat-attitude and enigmatic past. I wonder how much younger Mello is, though. Guess you were building the answer to that as a surprise to come... Wish you would decide to write again, so we could enjoy your fabulous writing and this exciting story. It's been a year again, after all ;)

That was really, really excellent. It's been a while since I have stumbled across a fanfic as well written as this, and I am glad I found this. Sadly though, there is only one more chapter for me to read of it at the moment. I can only hope however, that you will put out a new one soon?

I don't know what else I can say... I came across this just recently, and I can't believe I missed it after scoping your profile just after I'd read Beyond. Your writer!Matt is just so sweet, and cellist!Mello just makes me... Gah. XD I was actually listening to cello music as I read Mello's playing, and it just made the whole scene fantastic. I enjoy this story so much, and I love how different it is from your other works, showing that you can write in different styles.

I was a little bummed seeing how long it took to post the second chapter after the first one, but I sure hope that you do update within the next year. XD
