This was fantastic.
don't-even-ask1 chapter 1 . 8/6/2013
Dark but strangely alluring...
bluebirdheart chapter 1 . 3/9/2013
This story is so well written. I have read it multiple times now, and always enjoy seeing the father/son relationship. You have a real talent for capturing the hurt/comfort aspect in this story.

Well done all around.
Besan chapter 1 . 1/21/2013
Wonderful story, I really liked it.
AnimeFan202 chapter 1 . 8/9/2012
I've had this favorited for a long time... so when I went back to reread it as I like to do with my favorites, I was surprised that I didn't review it before! Because this is one that I've read over and over again, and I love it just as much as I did the first time. :) I think you hit everything head-on, perfectly.
It occurred to me that perhaps for once, Rita Skeeter didn't need to embellish any of the details because it was already all so awful. Which was kind of sad... :(
You did a great job!
Keep writing!

I was rereading this and I couldn't help but hope that you would write a sequal about Christmas 1998. I would enjoy reading about the Ron's anger and his following Harry, Harry's stay in St. Mungos, talking with Ginny, etc. It is great as a oneshot, don't get me wrong. I've enjoyed it each time I read it (which I think is 4 or 5 times now :) ) but I hope you at least consider a sequal. Keep up the amazing writing :)

phoenixphlight chapter 1 . 4/3/2012
Nice. I like how you show that winning the war has serious affects (or is it effects? I can't remember) on everyone involved.
the last time chapter 1 . 4/2/2012
This is amazingly written, it's almost as if I'm inside Harry's head, feeling (or rather, not feeling) everything the way he does. Silly me didn't realise that it would be triggering, but I'm all good, no harm done :) But I'd just take that as a sign of a good story, that you can affect people like that, you know, swing their emotions and that. You're really good, and I hope so much that the detail and feeling you've been able to put into this isn't from first hand experience. Keep it up lovely, you're amazing.
Laugh.While.Crying chapter 1 . 2/26/2012
Oh goodness gracious...

Words alone cannot describe how much I loved this. James's reaction was perfection, as well as Harry's. This was so sad, but I absoluetly loved it

I didn't catch any spelling or grammatical errors, so good job for that :3

Anyways, great job on the story. It was the perfect combination of angst and father/son fluff. (Well, not exactly fluff, but you know what I mean)

Keep writing!

Entreleslignes chapter 1 . 12/22/2011
This story is good. Very, very good.

Your description of what Harry did looks so real... it is quite disturbing, you know. (except for the wand, of course).

I did that too, and yes, it is true. It makes the person feel alive, real. It makes you think you can control your pain.

I read a lot of stories about Harry and this subject, but I think yours is one of the most breathtaking.

thank you for that.

Bye

PS: I am sorry for the mistakes, English isn't my language.
Starzinmieyez chapter 1 . 8/17/2011
Wow...I figured that the newspaper article that James found was exaggerated- I mean, it was by Rita Skeeter...XD Good job :)
SkippingintheDark89 chapter 1 . 7/5/2011
Wow! This was well done, It almost made me cry! I loved it!
TheImaginationAddict chapter 1 . 6/16/2011
It's actually painful to think of Harry harming himself, but who knows? This COULD have been the aftermath of all that he had well written, though - perfect characterization and depth :)
Caelhir chapter 1 . 12/21/2010
Thank you for writing this piece. It like making Harry real. A more human side if you know what I mean. This was touching and it's going on my favorites right now.
