AWWWW my god this was the cutest thing I've ever read- it's Dobby's BIRTHDAY PARTY! And he got clothes, and the whole Gryffindor Tower came down, just for Dobby- and then the last sentence just made me all sad inside, and I got all teary (punched myself in the face- SKILL) and then I realized that I missed my eye and these were actually tears, and now I feel awkward for crying about a fictional character and making this review so long *BREATHE*

Well, it's suffice to say that I loved this.

Cute story! I hated that Dobby died :( the last line reminded me. I could just see Dobby swamped in the cloths and not wanting to shed even one piece. well done

That was so lovely, and bittersweet at the end. I thought it was going to be all sweet and fluffy and then there was that bit at the end. Absolutely nang. :)

Dobby has a birthday? I never knew that; but then again, not much was actually revealed about him in the stories, so good thinking done for doing a house elf's birthday as fic! - Dobby does seem like a summery person; well, more summery than some people, like moi. I don't really like the sun. It burns. I like the rain better.

Aw... I would love to have one of those chocolate cakes for my b-day. All the Gryffindors are so nice to Dobby there! It's different from the original, and it's actually quite cute. Whether that was actually the intention, um... sorry if it wasn't. :P

Simply amazing I loved the way you portraited Dobby; so incredibly real and faithful to his character! And the whole reading was absolutely marvellous. The simple yet deep details you managed to insert were fabulous.

I loved this! You wrote Dobby really well without reducing your language (termings, etc.). Not many authors could do that!

My only discrepancy - Ron was in the Hospital Wing for his 17th birthday and not speaking to Hermione, while no one was at the school except Filch on June 28th...

But hey, AU here and there is GOOD I tell you. Best Dobby fic I ever read!
