i know it's been years, but i'm sure i'm not alone in saying, i would love to see more of their daily/nightly lives with this condition. how might a 'typical' hunt go - what happens if either is hurt... what happened in the initial encounter with the sorceress - or when/if they catch up with her...

I absolutely adore that movie! You did an excellent job bringing the curse to Sam and Dean. I found it very interesting that Sam turned into an Owl, which symbolized his nomadic nature and prescience. I can see where the worry would be that Sam might take off one day and fly too far to come back to Dean. You showed really well the love between the brothers, the dedication, and the fear of being separated. This story really left me wanting to read more. It was way too short!

wup. is there a lesson somewhere for both of them? dean on how it is sam need to have a 'mate for life' and 'normal/stable life', for sam on how it is that dean would always felt 'normadic' and no need on particular mate?

Since I probably didn't give feedback when I originally read this story - I want to say this is one of my all time favorite Sam - Dean stories. I love the movie, of course. But this is beautifully written and evokes the brother bond of the show. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful story! I love how understanding the boys are to each other and how much love they are able to show through little things like leaving notes or just having a little food set out for the other. This is another favorite of mine and I know I'll be coming back to reread it soon, it's just too good not too! :)
