there aren't enough words in the world to properly praise you for this piece of work. I have never read a POTC fix that dives so deep into the characters of Will and Elizabeth. you captured his earnestness and discipline so well, and her tendency to get her way but also her strength for him...Truly one of my favorite fics. WELL DONE.

I loved the part with Gibbs. He always was one of my favorite pirates. ;_)

This has to be one of the most brilliant stories I have ever read. It was incredibly well written, and at one point brought me to tears. Well done! I wish you were still writing, your stories are amazing.

I hope it includes the introduction of Mercedes and in What's Next you talk about interludes (few but some) b/w Elizabeth and Will during the 10 year servitude-so I hope you include them also! I really loved it, everything she was thinking about and the feeling of her being so lost and empty for the moment but still wanting to fight for Will and herself. It was so good, and wonderfully written. I can't wait for that new one!

I didn't even expect Evan would be in this chapter! I thought maybe it would be introduced in your story with Jackie! BUT BUT BUT you put him in so perfectly!

I went through the chapter twice just now, because I always have to read it twice to take it all in. You're just that type of writer that I can't read just once to take it all in...but TWICE. (It's a good thing, I promise!)

One thing I did wonder about was why you included that part about Jack and Barbossa believing they weren't going to see her ever again. Or something along those lines. I mean, I don't understand why not. THEY didn't have ten year service to the Dutchman. I know it's a silly thing to think about out of everything you included in the chapter, but I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was wondering why you said that?

Also, and this is another silly thing, but I wonder what Shipwreck Cove looks like...I mean like, inside.

This might just be me, but I would LOVE to see your take of Shipwreck Cove. In other words, I'd love to see it in more detail sometime. Just because I'm curious!
