I love this ! It’s so perfectly brilliant and something I can totally see happening!

This story was completely brilliant! I had no idea where you were going with this at all, which made it a really fun read! The serious tone which almost immediately became high comedy was just perfect. Yet at the same time it was somehow all amazingly, crazily plausible in a perfectly Hoganesque way! I suppose the fact that it made sense to me should scare me, lol! The whole “barbecued Carter” bit was absolutely priceless. Especially how cool Carter was with it…Hysterical! I certainly hope our sweet Carter gets a huge steak dinner after all that…

I have to confess this is one of my absolute favorite stories in this fandom and I've reread it many times. I love how you took what appears to be a serious scenario and very quickly turn it into a roll on the floor laughing worthy fic.

Sergeant Cobb - the name is great and perfect for the direction the story goes, an excellent case of foreshadowing.

Hogan slowly talks himself into the angle but once he gets the others aboard its perfect and the banter had me laughing the whole way through. LeBeau is so over the top it is great - that knife! - and of course he had to get an insult in about Germans being substandard.

Poor, Schultz. Kinch was right - you had him going good. Nice to know Hogan knows how to get benefits out of even the most on the fly con. But it is nice Carter will get his steak or at least the lollipop.

Really, I'm running out of words to say just how much I love this story. Thank you for the laughs.

Lol poor Schultzie. He's going to keep an extra eye on the prisoners to make sure they don't eat each other!

Oh, this was simply hilarious! Brilliant! I was crying for laughing yesterday when I read it (had it saved to my computer before), and even now, just thinking of it, I laugh out loud.

As I see many have said before, this could easily have been part of the show. First class Hogans Heroes entertainment; I think it would have become a classical scene from the series!

ROTFL! I don't know what I can say that hasn't already been said, but I absolutely loved this! Your writing is so descriptive, and the characters are spot-on! And the humor...I could see this as a scene from the show; without a doubt! Wunderbar!

I never laughed so hard in my entire life! This was great! Especially the way Hogan had Schultz going with the Bloody Mary and then the bar-b-que. It was classic Hogan's Heroes. I could see this having been an episode with the classic comedy you've written. Great job!
