It's Alonzo. That's the kicker for me.
I was actually torn between gaping in surprise and laughing 'til I couldn't breathe. Overall, this is quite good. From the delivery to the plot was very compelling. Good work!

I liked this. Angsty, but without the usual brand of "Oh woe is me! I was raped/abused/abandonetc, etc, pity me!" You had Bombalurina ADMIT she's selfish and regrets it, but knows it won't change, which was a nice change. I WASN'T expecting Alonzo at all- I was actually thinking it was Macavity for a little bit, particularly taking Demeter's disgusted reaction into the equation. I felt pretty bad for little Electra, though, despite the fact she still has parents. (Normally, I always think Electra is Demeter's child, but I liked thie take, since pairings and relatives are always fluid in the context of each show.)

Wow, melikes this one! Great twist - you had me thinking Tugger is her father, but now that I've read it, I can see that it can't be. A sure sign of a very talented author - I love your writing! :-)

Wow, that was pretty much fantastic. It's usually hard for me to bite in to Bombalurina's character, but you make it so easy somehow... she's a flirt, she's a bit selfish, and she knows it. At least she can recognize her issues, which means she's not really all that bad...

I love the way you tend to keep the reader guessing who your stories are really about until the very end. Usually why I try that I end up giving it away far too soon. Kudos!
