Haha! This was one major flaw that really bugged me with the series. Every time Light was in his room, I couldn't help but ask, "Are the rest of the people in that house deaf? He's screaming at the top of his lungs and laughing like an idiot. Surely SOMEONE would here him". xDD

*giggles* Honestly, Light really is quite loud with his outbursts of maniacal laughter and such. Is everyone else in the house deaf or something? Especially his dad. The Kira Case could have been solved a month after it began had he been listening at all.
