That was simply wow. There's finally a bit more meat to James Potter than in canon and it's very realistic too. Few tiny mistakes here and there like how you gave Trelawney's first name as Cassandra but it's still so enjoyable.

I did expect more interaction with Lily though but what can you do? It's a one shot.

Wow. Someone has finally given James Potter some depth. In canon he's nothing but an empty icon and an arrogant bully, but here he has substance. It's not pretty, but it's real. I'm impressed.

This has to be the best characterization of James that I have read and one of the most unique stories in this fandom.
