This fic was really nice. I liked the way you pictured Kisame. It made sense that he would be gentle and all even though he is such a huhe guy. And also that he came from a noble clan. I liked even the idea that he has a demon too and did actually look different before. It was just a nice take on the after war world and really really fluffy. Reading this story made me feel warm and calm.

I loved this chapter and am sure I will enjoy the rest of the fic just as much! They both seem to be opposites, but when you look deeper, they have a surprising amount of similarities. The backstory and the setting are both really well-written too!

Really great fanfiction here I gotta say, especially for a kisame/Sakura pairing. I totally get where you're coming from though when you say that you aren't happy with it and you don't understand why it's so popular. I don't mean to sound too critical when I say this, because I love the story, but it's not a story that would be published.

It is rushed and that is reflected in how their relationship develops very quickly and I really have no sense for the time line of the events. I don't know the time frame the story took place in (before the epilogue), that coupled with how the only events in their lives that are depicted in this story are their interactions with eachother.

Now this is fine for fanfiction because this is a shipping piece and most of us are here for the ship (hi!), and their interactions are well written so that makes it an awesome shipping piece and the best one that I've read for this ship.

But you wanted to know things you could do to improve it. There really is no central conflict in this story, the plot of this story can be summed up as: kisame and Sakura get together. In stories relationships can either be the plot (and be full of conflict and factors that drive the couple apart and make them fight to be together) or a character development (not part of the main story and used to flesh out who they are as characters). So to improve it you could add conflict. You could add one big conflict or you could have a series of little conflicts, maybe episodic like one conflict per chapter or arc conflicts that span multiple ones. They don't have to be "we're all gonna die conflicts" they could be: "a light bulb went out in the house so kisame goes out to get one. Oh no! None of the shops in town have any in stock, why is that? Because the delivery boat didn't come in. So kisame (and maybe Sakura too) go out on the boat/walk on water to try and find that ship and then shenanigans. They get their light bulb in the end and all is right."

Cute, short, and resolved in a chapter or a few, follows something like "the heroes journey" or Dan Harmons story structure (If you haven't already, you should look these up because they are very helpful when crafting stories), maybe skips a few steps because it's a fluff piece or because it's short. Bing bang boom, cute and a plot.

But I personally still enjoyed it the way it is and I think if you're gonna do a massive rewrite of it you should post the original as another story so fans of it can go back to it and reread it. Cheers man! Keep up the good writing :)

- the emotional connection
-The return of friends
-The ending how it hints at the child's name without confirming it. It adds mystery in a sence how life came full circle
-I don't think you should rewrite this but authors are most critical about there work than any critic so at least keep the major scenes the fight scene could be expanded but besides that it was perfect in fact I'd like a sequal please :)

I loved this story so, so much. Your Kisame is perfect and I love him. This is now one of my favorite Kisame/Sakura fics.

Wow! I'm just so speechless, I was so content to finish reading this fanfic. This was so great and amazing. I have fallin in love with the Kisame and Sakura pairing. I really enjoyed this so much. I do strongly believe that fanfic is one of the little, Kisame x Sakura, fanfic that I have read and thoroughly enjoyed! I was so happy to have found an amazing fanfic that went passed 1-3 chapters. Also, I have to stay that this fanfic was written very nicely. Nice job and keep up the good work!

I think that this is one of your most viewed because it is one of the few multichaptered stories featuring Sakura and Kisame that is written well enough to read..and it's finished to boot! Your description on how people cope differently after their world as been flipped upside down was realistic. Honestly if I had to complain about anything it would be that it felt a little rushed and Naruto and Hinata just kind of dropped out of the picture.

Its the most viewed becsuse
1. It showed two people pulling through pain with eachother
2. It is a beautiful love story
3. It shows that looks are deceving
4. And you can find love in the most unexpected places
5. Its got humer, mystery, and compassion
6. It shows that you can find your hope and move forword from the pain
7. And that happiness can be just under you nose where you least expect it.
8. Finaly dont hate a story you have written if it pulls at peoples heartstrings and makes them feel that all is not lost, your a very capable writer abd can easely take away the chariters and replace some stuff and turn it into an origional story with just the story line. Its genious.

This fanfiction is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever read. Of course there's some small flaws, weird characterization, etc, but it's fanfiction. If you wanted to rewrite it that would be awesome. But if not, that's fine too. :) I have read, and reread, it so many times, and I know for a fact I will keep rereading it for as long as it's up.

awesome it was slice of life type fic and you never finds those anywhere and who knew they would name their son itachi was expecting their son to have pink hair tho hahaha either way good story love this couple

The reason i loved this was because its the only of its kind, KisameXSakura pairings are rare and even more rare that they are a good read let alone complete. Plus i like the fact that its a plausible different future if that makes sense.
