Reviews for Road to Nowhere
LW97 chapter 8 . 12/21/2013
I feel so sorry for Bowser :( He lost a person he loved very much... he won't cope with this easily. I hope Jr. gets recovered anyway. It hurts me to see Bowser that way. I would hug him and cry with him.
Anonymous Person chapter 6 . 12/7/2012
NOOOOOOOOOO!
No, it's not like I'm a Bowser Jr. fan, but
HE ALMOST DIED ONCE! AND THEN, AS IF THAT NEVER HAPPENED, HE ACTUALLY DOES!
No offense, it was really emotional, and I almost cried... it was even more heart-breaking than Koopa and Diddy Kong.
Where can I find a shoulder to cry on?
Anonymous Person chapter 2 . 12/7/2012
You KILLED Diddy Kong!
imnottellingyoumyname chapter 9 . 2/21/2012
Hey, I don't have an account! I hope I'm not the only one...

Oh, I liked this story! I'm sad to see it end... :(
ImSpidey2 chapter 6 . 12/8/2011
Poor Bowser...I felt so bad for him once his son died.
WebMistressGina chapter 10 . 8/10/2011
I completely forgot the other thing I had an issue with.

6. Mario's dream - was never explained. Or rather, the actual events that took place were never explained. In his dream, Mr. V tells him what they need to do (which, btw, was the most epic of the babies feature!), but how then did they win if Mario wasn't with them?

Did they do the same thing? Were they truly racing against their dark images or the actual F-Zero team? That's never explained and the ending felt...rushed because of it. like it ends with no real conclusion.

Especially considering everything that's happened - while it seems easiest to say that everyone affected goes on, you've left a big hole with the Daisy-Luigi-Mario triangle; certainly, if Baby Luigi and Mario were imitating what Mario and Daisy were doing, Peach at some point is going to find out. And then what?

That also reminds me about Bowser - you do know that the Koopalings are his children, right? Jr. is his 8th (?) child, so for him to say that Jr was the only child is not true. Yes, he might loved Junior more, but he has seven other children, so he's not really alone.

Okay, I think that was it.
WebMistressGina chapter 10 . 8/10/2011
A good story in looking at the concept of absolute power. While I did enjoy it (and just couldn't stop reading), I did have some issues -

1. Rambling - towards the end, the story just rambled and started to fall apart. Not sure what the big emphasis was with the Lights Out parties or the weird author inserted humor (not needed, btw), but the story went from mysterious and good to childish ramblings at the most, especially at the end.

2. Mario/Daisy - this was probably my biggest issue as Mario and Daisy would never cheat on their spouses and certainly not with each other. And no other reason was given other than Mario was horny and Daisy apparently just wants a strong man. That makes them both seem shallow at best.

3. Luigi - the disservice you did to my poor Luigi kinda breaks my heart. Most telling is the fact that not only does he seem to just accept that his wife had a one night stand with his brother, but he's perfectly fine with it. I know I haven't played a good portion of the Mario games, but Luigi isn't completely helpless and I hardly think he'd just lay there and watch his wife and brother have sex and not do anything about it.

4. Babies - while awesome that you included the babies, the explanation of them being Mario and Luigi's sons makes no sense really. In Partners In Time, it clearly shows that the four meet in the past; also, that notion is extremely disturbing as Mario and Luigi are twins, meaning that not only do twins run in families with twins (at a higher rate), but that could be seen as Weegie may not even be Luigi's son. That disturbs me more than anything.

5. Mr. V - Mr. V started out fairly strong as a creepy and tricky villain, but then - like with issue 1 - just turns into a comedy being (like Morgan Freeman as God in Bruce Almighty). The reasoning as to why he did what he did falls flat when you consider that you portray him as this almighty being.

If he's so almighty, then why not do away with the culprits in another manner without bringing others into it? While the revenge for Diddy's death is explained, why would Mr. V then heighten Luigi's hate of Mario to sabotage the staircase in order to kill Waluigi?

Especially when Waluigi was apparently aware of the bomb he placed, why wasn't he as guilty as Paratroopa was?

These are just some concrits to think of. Not saying this was a bad fic; it was actually very good, but could have been much better.

Aside from your plant humor, You have created the second best story that I have ever read second to "The Verdict." Congratulations
TDITyler102 chapter 10 . 7/30/2011
It has taken me all night to finish reading this story, and if I had to say one thing, it would be this - You sir, are a GOD! Mr. V God, to be exact. The way you right his so amazing, you truly have a beautiful and vivid imagination. At first, I didn't know who to suspect the killer was. As soon as Wario intruded Toad's office, I thought it was him. For some reason, I knew Mr. V was the good guy.

My favourite character through the whole story was Petey. The way you made him one of the main characters in the story without him talking was incredible. I would of put King Boo in the office because, if Mr. V tried anything, he could just float out or not die.

To be completely honest, this was the first fanfic I ever cooed at becuase of mainly Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and DK. They were so innocent through the whole thing, and I felt so sad when Baby Mario and Luigi thought that Diddy Kong and everyone else who had died were coming back. And DK's speech at Diddy's funearal. Which brings me to a question, did they ever have Koopa's funearal?

Since I've talked long enough, I just hope you will write a fanfic truly amazing as this one. Adios!

thats really good! i love it !
Klutzybear chapter 10 . 10/2/2010
Wow. . . .

Seriously, I didn't have much faith for this story in the beginning. I think it was mostly due to the wierd structure of your paragraphs. Everything just felt a little too cluttered to read.

But after awhile, I got use to it, and soon after, got hooked.

I had to look up the next chapter after I finished the last one, and sometimes resist the urge to cheat and jump ahead to the end.

Some of the characters losses and empotional displays, admittedly, were a bit unrealistic to me, especailly Bowser. But the amusing moments in your work, really lifted my ire.

It's hard for me to think straight right now. It's kinda late, and there's a lot of things I know I want to include about this story, but right now, all I can do is sum it up in a few words.

This story is one of the best I'ver read in the Mario Section. Good job.

King Boo FTW! :3

Genis Sage 777 chapter 10 . 1/16/2009
You write great mysteries. I would have never thought it was Toad that was the Killer. I especially like the very end.

King Boo- Look, a distraction!
Rigeekulous chapter 4 . 11/2/2008
Man, I've gotta say that I love this chapter. Well, most of all the part of the crank calls. It's the most hilarious thing i have ever read! Hahaha
