I hope you update this story again, I feel that you've finally hit your stride and the story is going in a great direction and your writing has really improved. I especially loved this sentence:

Silence was not the absence of sound, Credo decided. It was a sound all on its own: a stifling, selfish, gluttonous thing that premeated [permeated] the air and swallowed all else. -good use of word choice and vivid descriptions to give us a sense of what Credo's going through.

There's a good chemistry between the two main characters, even with all of Vergil's angry angst and Kyrie's fear/attraction to him. I'm not as good at catching grammar, spelling, or syntax errors as I read, so I couldn't tell they you hadn't used a beta reader for this chapter. I did notice one thing though. Watch out for words like "loose" and "lose." I think you meant to use "lose" instead of "loose" in sentences like this: "'Loose me'?" The smooth baritone never changed in inflection, though his eyes revealed his growing agitation.

Thanks for writing this chapter, and once again, I encourage you to continue writing. I really hope you can find the time to continue this fan fiction. I think it's worth continuing. Your idea is original and the story is really interesting. I look forward to finding out what will happen next and I'd love to see this completed someday.

They seem to follow Kyrie around o.o Will Vergie ever realise the error in his ways?! Good god, this story is beautifully written! Spent all of today reading it and have quite frankly become so ridiculously entranced in the story line you've spread out - the best part? It isn't a story where Vergil is just slapped together with someone; character development is there.
