I will never get sick of this idea/time in their lives being explored in people's various fics. It burns me up a little inside that we never got to see the Sand Sibs repairing their relationship in the show- not even in a filler arc or anything.
This was short, but lovely. You portrayed the tension and awkwardness between Gaara and each of his siblings perfectly. I loved the little differences between his relationships with Temari and Kankuro… Thank you for sharing this!

I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've reread this. I think you captured both of the Sand brothers perfectly. I think what really makes this story is that they're both so in-character.
