RDDash chapter 3 . 10/21/2019 Have no idea what those egghead words even mean, and the story is extremely difficult to follow. |
RDDash chapter 1 . 10/21/2019 I know that you improved but your first story is hard to read due too how badly it's written. |
Grovtech chapter 12 . 5/1/2016 An interesting cross as well as the different levels such as the Q and other higher lifeforms. Good! |
Guest chapter 6 . 3/15/2015 Picard is about par for the course. Deluded by his fantasy of peace at any price. Only a fop like him would attempt to negotiate in the position he finds himself. Another moron who never had any business commanding a ship with other peoples lives at stake.. He would have been fine in a ship with a tiny crew with no military or defense responsibilities. He was the type of person that let colonies become brutally enslaved by the Cardasians so confrontation might be avoided. The "new" breed seems to me to be the right breed. Explorers, yes, but they have no intention of being walked all over or letting the Federation get destroyed.. |
Roshimon chapter 4 . 3/15/2015 I love the abject stupidity of the starfleet personnel. They have no sense of self preservation and at best a tenuous grasp on the reality of what is happening right in front of their eyes in your universe. They are attempting warnings while people are being killed. In any real military (and I know that starfleet is not a "typical" military force) the captain of the Okada would have been stood up in front of a wall. Not to mention you making the cylons essentially unkillable. Compression phaser rifles would in any type of universe even closely connected with canon be able to vaporize material at a far faster rate than a small replicator could ever hope to replace. The cylon would rapidly lose far too much mass to be able to be replaced. Not to mention even replicators need materials and mass from which to replace things. They cant replicate from nothing I know this story is old but the wankery going on here is as close to absurd as I have had the displeasure to read. You have done far better. |
ThanosofTitan chapter 9 . 4/8/2014 Did you really have to reference Code of Honor, the worst, most racist TNG episode ever? |
ThanosofTitan chapter 8 . 4/7/2014 Why are you writing Q and Iblis like they're DBZ characters or something... |
Talphon chapter 11 . 3/5/2012 Excellent Story as are all of your stories, can't wait to read the next chapters in all of them. Don't mean to knit-pic, but I believe that according to Canon, Quantum Torpedoes are Zero-point energy weapons, there is no Anti-matter in that type of system. Photon Torpedoes yes, plenty of anti-matter. Quantum torpedoes are a completely different system. You have done an excellent job of meshing all of these disparate Sci-Fi universes together, a true joy to read. All of your stories are well thought out and extremely dynamic, a great read. I was wondering as far as ATV goes, will you have a second part that will tell the tale of the Vorlon and Federation war in Picard's time? A second part with the same high quality of the rest of ATV is something that keeps me up at night thinking about deep space battles between Sovereigns, Defiants, Nebulas, Prometheus, and every other class out there fighting agaisnt the Vorlons. I can't even call them evil, as they appear in ATV they are something worse, something that considers all the younger races as basically test animals, not really sentient. |
justjoe chapter 1 . 2/23/2012 I found this story to be well conceived, developed and executed. Every aspect was well done and the characters were believable. Well done. |
Bleck chapter 1 . 7/23/2011 Reformat this story stat! |
JovianJeff chapter 12 . 7/29/2010 That was outstanding! And I speak as one who watched the original BSG series because it was the only new scifi at the time, it hadn't really caught my interest afterwards (and you know my opinion on the new). I was surprisingly drawn into this by its characters, and it helped by the surprise of having hortas in a story, so few feature them. But back from that digression, this was a wonderful read that again I found inspiring and uplifting as your other work despite the bleak situation the characters are in. |
JES chapter 12 . 6/11/2009 What can I say, other than that this story is very good. It is amazingly enjoyable to read, very interesting, and the dialogue from the different characters from both series seems consistent with what you would expect. The storyline keeps you hooked, and makes you want to keep going on from one chapter to the next. The blood-thirsty nature of the original Cylons, combined with the Federation's ideal that all living beings have a right to live with some form of independence, the Colonial's acquired hatred of the Cylons, the Romulan's xenophobic nature, and the Klingon's nature to shoot back at anything that offends them or their allies makes for one interesting and exciting storyline, and keeps the reader wondering what will happening next, which needless to say is something I find important in order to keep me interested. However, I did notice a major error in the plot: the T'kon Empire wasn't located anywhere close to the Romulan Neutral Zone, and it barely even extended into the Beta Quadrant; in fact, if one were to look at a star map, you would see that the location hinted in the story where the Cylons get their upgrades can only sort of be located somewhere on the opposite side of the galaxy in the Alpha Quadrant. You probably should have used an Iconian factory instead, especially because it happens to be somewhere in the Romulan Neutral Zone where the Klingon and Federation borders meet, which is where the setting of the story appears to be. Another inconsistency is that Livingston's aquarium actually survived the crash-landing of the Enterprise-D intact, and it is hinted that Livingston the lion fish probably also survived the crash landing, so the claim of the fish in the aquarium being cloned copies in chapter seven does unfortunately contradict canon. However, despite these inconsistencies, this story is still a thoroughly enjoyable read. A very well done job. :) |
Isis the Sphinx chapter 12 . 6/5/2008 Great. Now I've got a Janeway headache. Thanks. Amazing fic. Much loved and liked. I'm heading off to the next bit, nice merge. Keep writing! |
sirtechlocke chapter 2 . 1/4/2008 Oh man. The Cylons are truly dangerous now! |
sirtechlocke chapter 1 . 1/4/2008 Sweet! Levels the playing field eh? Kudos! |
