I love this. I really do. I loved David in the movie, and you just seem to be adding more onto his character, and not keeping him strictly movie based, I love that :) Although, it always seems that its my favorite people who die, which totally isn't fair D: But anyway, I love what you're doing with David, you're opening him up, showing his clever, smart, and merciful side, keep up the badass work, I look forward to new chapters :3

I can't do more than 1 review per chapter, so I didn't log in for this one, but did you change this chapter since you put it up? I'm thinking the first time I read it David was not so harsh at the end - as in he didn't cut him and say he should have let him die. I could very easily have been dreaming, or did you change it?

This chapter made me cry! :'(

Gosh, this chapter was insane! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time...literally. You have a great writing style and sense of storytelling.

In the back of my mind, I knew David was going to win, but somewhere in there, I thought, "Maybe there's a slight chance Marko could..."

But even though poor Marko's been through a lot lately, he did cause more trouble than it was worth. *And* his brothers risked their lives coming after him, so really they were doing the right thing.

So, I know they're vampires, but I was shocked at just how brutal the fight was...and I loved it! You described it just perfectly and I could see everything that was happening in my head!

I was clapping for Marko whenever he got a few good blows in, but I was also rooting for David. I don't know, it just seems justified that the eldest of the group win since (even though I love him to death) Marko has done a lot of damage to a lot of places and people including his brothers.

Diverting from the fight scene, I have just adored your OC Douglas this entire story! He's witty, funny as hell and just an all around great character who's believable in everything he does. And I like how he explained the vampire race, full of honor and brutal respect.

I was a little shocked that David let Marko live, but very, very happy. The decision really did show that David has a, eh, sort of soft side? for his family.

DALE. Jesus, this dude really freaks me out. He just won't quite will he? I can't wait to see the fight scene next! Especially considering most of the vampires have lost too much blood and are very injured.
