Very neat passages. I've always thought that sometimes silence can be deafeningly loud, and that people suffer in that kind of noise. You drew that kind of picture very well.

Great story! I love the description and the 'silent' understanding. i know it was short but it was worth it! Maybe you could write one about commotion and screaming or something like that!
