Bunny1 chapter 1 . 7/26/2009 aw... how sweet!;) |
ToxicLullaby chapter 1 . 8/30/2008 I'm grinning right now! That was too cute. Very well written. Great job. Too bad he broke that promise...*sniffle* |
jenilee chapter 1 . 6/3/2008 You know I read this ages ago and didn't get a chance to leave a review. Then of course I forgot til now. Lol. Very nice story. I loved Dean's watching the two boys and then the memories of Sam's first day at school and Dean's promise to not ever leave Sam behind. How you tied that to the deal and darn Kripke ruined the promise but that's ok I think Dean'll still be able to keep it in the end. |
magickal1 chapter 1 . 4/19/2008 Hey Jess! Wonderfully fantastically awesome! Wee!Sam and Wee!Dean are just too adorable for words and yet you manage to capture them perfectly. “I promise you Sammy, that I won’t leave you behind. Don’t ever doubt it.” Aw! This makes me happy. You should definitely keep writing flashbacks. They're so cute. I really liked this one. |
Colby's girl chapter 1 . 3/24/2008 Enjoyed the story. Brought back memories of the couple of times I was the new kid showing up in school. Blach! |
ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 3/23/2008 Really enjoyed this although DALDOM hasn't aired here yet in the UK so haven't seen it! Loved Dean's flashback triggered by the two young boys he saw looking through the diner window! Can just imagine Dean always keeping his promises to Sammy even from an early age! |
RedDragen chapter 1 . 3/19/2008 Another wonderful chapter, I can't wait for more |
vonnie836 chapter 1 . 3/19/2008 This is really sweet, Dean keeping a promise he gave to a 5 year old Sam. This sounds like something he would do. Really like that one. Hugs, Vonnie |
funkyspunk chapter 1 . 3/19/2008 Hey Jess! Wow, Maginificent, wonderful, excellent, brilliant, superb... but wait, you already know all of these things. ;) Need I say it again? And no blushing this time! ;P Loved this oneshot. Very, very cute. As I said, you write little Sam and little Dean so adorable, I just want to cuddle them both and squeeze them until they run out of oxygen... which ...we would end up with Limp!Sam D Beautiful, I always enjoy your writing. ) Have a lovely day! |
SamDeanLover28 chapter 1 . 3/19/2008 I made one of me and you and Daddy in the Impala Dean!*aw...*“I won't leave you behind.” *aw...god that is brilliant* |
FairyElle chapter 1 . 3/19/2008 Hey Jess! I’m so happy that you posted this story. ) You know I love it right? I really did. I loved how you connected everything, with the promise of the past and present. I also really liked how you showed those other brothers, showing us how Dean remembered the past, it kind of reminded me of “Something Wicked” that also sent Dean down memory lane. That was an awesome touch. And you did a perfect job of showing how protective and caring Dean was of Sam when they were kids, and how that protection follows them to the present. I really loved how Dean knew what was up with Sam with just one look. Amazing. And Sam was just the cutest kid. You captured the characterization there perfectly. I hope you write more flashbacks, Jess. I’m loving them. ) *Hugs* Louise |
calcium77 chapter 1 . 3/18/2008 Cute story:-) |
Deej1957 chapter 1 . 3/18/2008 Lovely, bittersweet story. I love the way you tied the past and present together. Deej |
sammygirl1963 chapter 1 . 3/18/2008 Fantastic oneshot-I loved the flashback part of Sam's first day at school. His worry near the end that maybe Dean wouldn't come back to get him, his insecurity that maybe he had did something wrong to make his dad mad and that's why he wasn't there for him all the time now. Dean was awesome in the way he relieved those fears letting Sammy know that they would always be there for him and NEVER leave him behind! |
Amy chapter 1 . 3/18/2008 Lol. A pie run. That amuses me. I hope Sam remembers the ice cream... 'He shouldn’t have had to burden Sam with that. The kid already had enough on his plate, enough worry and stress that would have crippled other men, but not his Sammy.' Aw. Aww, those kids are cute. They remind me so much of the boys, it's no wonder it sent Dean down memory lane. Oh this is so sweet. Dean worrying b/c the teacher didn't know Sam's likes or how smart he was already. Typical Dean thinking more about Sam than himself. Oh wow, Sam scared him to death. Me too, I thought some of the kids were outside picking on him. Oh. *sobs* Poor Sam. 'I didn't know if you'd come back. Dad leaves and I never know when he'll come back. I didn't know if I did something wrong if you wouldn't come back.' Gah. I'm teary eyed here. And the end was good too. I really like it. |
