Reviews for No survivors
GeminiLady21 chapter 1 . 3/13/2015
Well, everyone has their theories. Personally, I think that Yami Bakura, spirit of the Millennium Ring, was a mixture of the Thief King and Zorc, since both souls were shoved into the artifact and spent millenia upon millenia of years stuck together - who WOULDN'T go crazy? As for Thief KIng himself, I believe that seeing the destruction of his village, he was then under the influence of Zorc, no more than a simple pawn.
TheWammy'sHouseReject chapter 1 . 7/21/2010
poor kura! i totally agree that tokozu-ou bakura isn't really evil. there's even this one episode when zorc abandons bakura and all of a sudden he's scared out of his mind! that doesn't seem too evil.
Baka-chan chapter 1 . 6/27/2008
One question,When you say 'Zork' do you mean the Pharoah's evil high preist,Zork Necrofades?

Nice plot, but you have a few spelling or grammer mistakes here and there.
MagykTales chapter 1 . 3/10/2008
Well, well. How very intriguing. First off, let me start by saying that this story, while not the best, it was still great. These are the types of stories that I like to watch out for. Something deep, something with meaning...no matter if it was macabre. There are such few well written stories on and even fewer that posess a captivating plot, moment, scene. Yours...succesfully completes the latter, if not the former. I also believe that Bakura is not 'purely evil', if somewhat twisted and demented. The recollection of Kul Elna, well let's just say that the word 'macabre' suits...almost perfectly.

But as well written as it was, there are still few mistakes present. There are a few spelling errors, and all that they require is a good proof-read, and spell check. And now about the explanation. Some parts of the story was haunting and very well written, but other parts needed some work. The part that you were good at was decription of the scenes, and what was taking place there. The way everyone was killed, and then later sacrificed. But then, if most were killed, then how come so many survivors were left? It seemed to me that an awful lot of the people survived, and then were sacrificed. Opposed to that, you said that too many were dead already. And, I think that you should have explained wih a little more detail Bakura's true horror. Sure I got the feeling that he was horrified and then broken...and yet there was still room for better explanation. You should have delved a little deeper, and dug out the true extent of his horror and anguish. At least that's the way I see it.

Lastly, there was one part that confused me somewhat. 'He was broken. He was perfect.' Could you explain to me what that meant? The last part where Zorc took over was truly scary. Made you lose all hope, and darkness overshadows all. And I absolutely loved when you said, 'And what they said was true; there were no survivors in Kul Elna that night.' A better ending there could not have been! The finish was like the icing on the cake! Absolutely great! Very, very good work!

Journey Maker chapter 1 . 3/4/2008
As I read this story it was almost like I was there along side Bakura as he witness the senseless slaughter of the village and when the spirit of Zorc possessed his body and started changing him I could almost feel the change myself. You are one hell of a great writer to make me feel like I was right there. I bow down to you and say BRAVO! I'm adding this to my favorite list... Great Story...
LadyBastet92 chapter 1 . 3/4/2008
Very powerful, and a bit over the top, but in a good way. You're supposed to stir up emotions by being over the top. Very good job!
Dark Necrofear chapter 1 . 3/4/2008
You did a great job with this. This was a such a good emotional story and I also believe Bakura was indeed possessed as a child. Well done.
Diabound chapter 1 . 3/4/2008

death by storm chapter 1 . 3/3/2008
I don't believe this to be over the top. I am also a firm believer in that Bakura was possessed. You did an amazing job with this story.
