A little off with the syllables, I admit, but oh well. That last part with Tilion lingering to listen to Frodo sing a hobbit song is just the purest thing! And Elrond being a great friend, as well as Gandalf, to our dear Frodo.

I am near tears with this one. Frodo's contented 'And we lived happily ever after' is such a magnificent phrase in this context. Bless Tolkien, but we never saw Frodo heal and become happy and joyful. I think that's why I keep coming back to your stories: because Frodo deserved healing and, thanks to you, we're seeing that healing.

Aw! Sam and Frodo enjoying themselves on the beach is just too darn cute! I really liked Sam's introspection and his views on Frodo. "He was finally himself. Perhaps that's what healing really was, when you came right down to it." This is such a poignant and beautiful line.

I have no idea how I missed this one, but I love it so much! Oh my goodness, it's a library! Elrond brought most of his library and thrust it all onto Frodo and Bilbo! And now elves are bombarding the house, and it's so cute and wonderful! And Bilbo wants to open a school for teaching and learning Westron!

Can I say how much I adore the good humour that's in your fics, especially that of the elves? It's like, in Middle-earth, they were becoming too sad and solemn, and it's only on Tol Eressea that they're finding joy again.

Another fantastic chapter that left me smiling. I'm off to SLC then to Wichita tomorrow to visit the kids and Steve's family. I hate traveling because of all the hassle (yes, I have to fly United on one leg but will try to watch what I say).
