I am glad Dean's heart is OK, VERY glad Deacon didn't die, although I can understand his heart almost giving out.
VERY glad Sam found out, because no, Dean wouldn't have told him to worry him. Like this one.

Nice tag onto Folsom Prison. Love that you had Sam blow up and tell Dean about the end of the Law Degree. I hadn't thought of that. And so nice that Dean acually apologizes.

I so enjoy your work and even if I don't leave feedback after every story (your work is my summer treat each day) I appreciate every one.

Sam's outburst was really powerful here. He gets to yell at Dean in little bits and spurts but this was a full out blast of all of his retroactive anger and fear and all of it coming out at once really threw Dean back a pace or two. That job being the end of his law career was really heartbreaking too. He'd been trying so hard to think that it could still be a possibility in the future, but after this, it was all gone.

Loved this. Could so understand Sam freaking out when he heard Deacon's voicemail and wanting to take Dean to the hospital to get his heart checked out. And loved that Dean got where Sam was coming from and agreed, much to Sam's surprise. Perfect final line - And took Dean out for the best burger and seasoned fries in town when the doctor gave him a clean bill of health.

Sams much needed breakout. Very well written- he really dis screw his chances at Law School. I love the end. Thnks for the read

I don't know what it is with the writers on the show and Dean's damn heart. Tazered in "Faith", angry ghost in "Are You There God...", the fiend in "Folsom Prison Blues" and the near-heart-attack in "Yellow Fever" leap to mind immediately. There's probably more that I'm not remembering, and I've often wondered what it is they are trying to tell us with all of that. Well, besides the fact that Dean has the heart of a lion and the tenacity of a pit bull. *laugh* I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one wondering if he'd sustained damage to his heart when the she-bitch touched him in the infirmary. It clearly hurt like hell, and it always made me wonder if it'd come back to bite us at some point. I imagine that's exactly why he didn't tell Sam though. Plus the fact that Sam was pissed about the job throughout the episode. (I have to say the crack about "you from Texas all of a sudden" made me laugh so hard I had to rewind it to hear what came next.) I love the way he found out here - the forgotten voicemail accidentally. Because really, how else was he ever going to know - Dean and his damn secrets. *sigh* Another awesome piece. :-)

Loved this! Loved the way you exposed a few secrets here. I was completely intrigued by this episode and the fact that Dean was so at home in the prison instead of scared for himself and Sam. I know Sam would have responded like this if he had known about the attack, so it just makes you wonder if it ever came out..

This was an excellent blowup and talk-it-out betwen the brothers. Sam's fear for Dean, especially after the Nebraska heart-thing, makes absolute perfect sense and I think that this was written out very well between the two brothers.

I don't think I've read any other Fulsom Prison Blues tags. I loved it! Poor Sam really did give up everything for that hunt.

Sam's anger and fear was perfectly done. Dean should have told him about Deacon's call and the attack in the infirmary. But Dean finally understanding where Sam was coming from and giving in to the doctor thing was lovely. Sam's surprise at his capitulation was really cute.

Wow I love this story...Sam's explosion was really well done and the Cap Ahab reference, too perfectly fitting! That and how Dean doesn't know how to react to worry, when he does the same thing all the time...poetic.

Aww and Dean was always watching over him...aw
