I am here, Sam! That's what I wanted to say after reading this. Lovely Sam reflection. I can totally see this happening around the time of "The Seer."

Hm? Well, it's nice. But the ending seems a little lacking in flow.

It just seems like you're listing them off rather than writing a story about them (and Sam.) Another 50 words maybe, a little more saving grace and I think I'd be happier.

Oh! This was good. So true! Sam all alone out in Atlantis with none of her friends. There have been a lot of times during season four where you can see this like when Teal'c came it and it was obvious that Ronan hasn't embraced Carter or when Ronan made the comment that Weir wouldn't have doubted him. Sam's response of "I'm not Dr. Weir" broke my heart! This was a great read! Perfect example of a good fanfic it was independent and unique yet still managed to capture a real feeling from the show. So good!

I think the sense of isolation is a major draw back for some, and probably one of the hardest parts. You can only relax so far, and no farther, with people you would normaly react with .

I wished she had stayed for another season so she could prove herself to her people and got the chance to get closer to them, she was just left to the side and by herself.

great job. i like having cater on atlantis. wish that she was able to stay. trio was by far the best episode of the season & we got to see the real sam. if she could stay i think that the writers of trio should do more & give us more carter. but alas that is not to be. but again great job.

Exactly! At least Weir was a civilian who had a close rapport with many of the main characters, but Sam, being military and at the top, is naturally isolated...not to mention the cost of a long-distance phone call from the Pegasus Galaxy. Thanks so much for saying so well what I've been feeling all season!
